Full Local Control
A website should not become inaccessible because a subscription ends, a service changes direction, or a plugin stack can no longer be maintained.
Minimalist CMS stores each editable site in a folder and builds a separate folder of public files. Both can be inspected with ordinary tools. The authoring project can be backed up or moved; the published site can be served by conventional hosting, SFTP, GitHub, Vercel, or any static-file platform.
Local first does not mean isolated
The app still provides live preview, responsive media, social sharing metadata, RSS, search-engine files, flexible navigation, custom code, and direct publishing. The difference is that these capabilities do not require surrendering the website's source or public output.
Portability is not merely an export feature. It is the architecture.
