How it works
Minimalist CMS keeps the path from idea to public website short enough to understand.
1. Create a site
Start a portable project folder on your Mac. The app creates a complete homepage, useful starter pages and posts, a favicon, and a valid public build immediately.
2. Write and arrange
Edit in a continuous canvas while the live preview shows the real site beside you. Decide what is visible, what belongs in navigation, how collections are presented, and which visual details suit the publication.
3. Preview the finished website
The preview uses the same renderer as publishing, so pages, posts, images, typography, navigation, mobile behavior, and metadata stay close to what readers will receive.
4. Publish where you choose
Sync directly over SFTP, connect a GitHub repository for hosts such as Vercel, or upload the generated publish folder manually. Each method sends the same compact static website.
5. Keep control
Return to the local project whenever you want to make a change. Minimalist CMS rebuilds deterministically and sends only the public result. Your source content remains yours.
