Minimalist CMS

Publishing

A publishing tool should make going live feel deliberate, dependable, and pleasantly uneventful. Minimalist CMS offers three paths without changing the site it produces.

GitHub and Vercel

Link a site to a cloned GitHub repository, test the connection, and sync. Minimalist CMS rebuilds the public site, updates only its managed files, creates a clear commit, and pushes through your existing GitHub authentication. Connect that repository to Vercel or another Git-based host and each deliberate sync becomes a deployment.

Direct SFTP

Connect ordinary web hosting with a host, port, username, and password or private key. Credentials stay in macOS Keychain. The connection test previews changes, publishing uploads only changed files, and cleanup removes only stale paths previously managed by Minimalist CMS.

Manual files

Open the publish folder and upload its contents anywhere. This universal fallback is also a promise: the finished website is not trapped behind a proprietary deployment service.

One public result

Every route produces the same standards-based HTML, responsive assets, RSS feed, sitemap, robots file, social metadata, and cache guidance. Hosting changes; the website does not have to.
